Winter Skin Care with Exederm- Mrs. Bishop

*I received these products in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.*

I don’t know about you- but January skin has got me down. Suffering from psoriasis and eczema is even worse during the frigid winter months. I have had my worst flare ups ever this year, and that’s AFTER having changed most of my products. The best thing I can do is just try to keep my symptoms under control, and treat them when they’re bad.

Thankfully this fall, Exederm sent me their full line or products to try. Products that help treat Eczema, Dermatitis, Dry, and Sensitive Skin.

Their products contain:

-NO Fragrances (one of my biggest break-out causes)

-No Parabens

-No Color or Dyes

-No Phthalates

-No SLS or CAPB

-No Lanolin

-No Proylene Glycol

and are free of the most common irritants found in most skincare products.

Their Flare Control Cream  is America’s ONLY Hydrocortisone Cream that’s Paraben free, and is a great treatment when my flare ups get out of control.

For daily use I love the Eczema Lotion. It’s light and non-greasy, and perfect for re-applying over and over again. Keeping my skin moisturized without leaving oily residue.

For after baths and before bed I like to go ahead and put on the Intensive Moisturizer, which is slightly heavier, but perfect for easing my redness and flakiness when my hands are especially sensitive.

The Shampoo and Conditioner are great- because, again they are fragrance free. But, they still make my hair feel clean, while helping my scalp stay hydrated and combating the flakiness and dryness that goes hand in hand with skin conditions. They are also very affordable compared to comparable products on the market. (And they don’t contain ingredients like coal tar, that make your hair smell not so great.)

For cleansing your body, they make an Eczema Wash that I use especially during flare ups, and use as a face wash as well. It’s super gentle, while still leaving your skin clean feeling. A lot of sensitive products can leave you feeling like you have a residue left behind, but I found that this wash doesn’t do that. It’s also soap-free, which is super important for me, because I have to go light on soap containing products, which really dry out and irritate my overly sensitive skin. (Especially this time of year.)

They also have a whole line of products for Babies and Children with skin issues. As a Momma to a sensitive skinned little fella, I love knowing that there are gentle products that I can use on him. And they have been awarded the coveted National Eczema Association Seal of Acceptance with a perfect 5/5 score from the expert review panel for all of their baby products.

So, if you or any of your loved ones suffer from skin issues, tell them about Exederm. An affordable, over the counter solution that may help with their sensitive skin. Right now is a great time to order, because they’re offering 25% off with code BISHOP25.
