Spring Beauty Favorites 2016: Mrs. Bishop

*Disclaimer- I received some of these products in exchange for an honest review. Those products will be marked with a *. All opinions are my own.*

I keep forgetting to take the time and share my Spring Beauty Faves, so I finally sat down and compiled them for you- everything from skincare to makeup. Here they are, in no particular order…the items that I have been consistently reaching for this season.

KMF_M.Shave_R7

1.) Kiss My Face Moisture Shave– They have a bunch of different scents, but my sensitive skin prefers this fragrance free version. It goes on like a soap, super thin and not foamy, so at first it doesn’t seem like a normal shaving cream. But, it is the BEST! It just barely lathers, and you get a super smooth, close shave. And you don’t have to use much product at all. I used to use like a bottle of shaving cream a week #hairygirlprobs, but I’ve had this for a month or more and it’s still going strong!

2.) *nyl Organic Shimmer Scrub– I’ve shared my love for nyl products before, so I’ll just say this- I love this stuff. It’s perfect for prepping your legs for a shave (you can even just shave with it) and sloughing off any dry, dead skin. It leaves behind a subtle shimmer that will have you glowing all day long. You’ll be loving rocking your short shorts and tanks after the endless winter we just had.

3.) Pacifica Purify Coconut Water Cleansing Wipes– I picked these up on sale at Target, and I’m super glad I did. I use them at night to take off my makeup before cleansing, or they’re great to throw in your purse or gym bag for a quick refresh. They smell amazing-like fresh coconut. They do a great job wiping away any grime, and are still super gentle on my sensitive skin. Though, I still splash water on my face after, just in case.goldendelicious_productbox_1 sunshinebronzer_productbox_web

4.) *Dusty Girls Bronzer and Blush– Dusty Girls is an Australian company that has become one of my absolute favorite makeup brands. They make natural mineral products that are safe for my sensitive skin and actually work. I have both the Sunshine Mineral Bronzer and the Golden Delicious Natural Mineral Blush and they are my every day go-to’s. I use the blush every day, and the bronzer I’ve been using more and more as warmer weather approaches. They’re both super pigmented, I barely have to put any on the brush (I got their awesome Kabuki brush) and it spreads really well. It feels like I’m wearing hardly anything and that’s a definite plus in my book!

5.) Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc Free Mineral Face Powder– This is the face powder I just started using. Physician’s Formula products aren’t all “green” but they are gentle on my sensitive skin. This powder works well and helps set my makeup. It’s light and has good coverage for a mineral powder.

bbcream

6.) Organic Wear BB Cream– This BB cream is a great sensitive skin friendly option that you can buy locally. Especially with foundation, which I run out of ALL OF THE TIME, that’s a bonus. It has a light-medium coverage, and when paired with the mineral wear powder, hides my blemishes and keeps my face looking smooth.

8.) *Ko and Humble Passion Fruit Seed Oil– A new favorite that has become one of my must-have products. This oil has a plethora of uses, but I’ve been using it nightly on my face to heal some hormonal acne and dry patches. It has really made a huge difference on my skin. My husband even commented on how my skin looked so clear and that I had a “glow about me.” #notpregnant Check back next week for a full review on this and some other amazing beautifying oils.

9.) *B True Beauty Nourishing Eye Makeup Remover– We all know that one of the most important part of healthy, glowing skin is removing our makeup EVERY night. This eye makeup remover makes that super easy and gets off every last trace of my eyebrow products and mascara. I’ve noticed my eyelashes have been really healthy and look longer since I’ve been using it as well.

mineral-liplux-spf-30-skinny-dip.MAIN_.00-1024x102410.) *Coola Mineral Liplux SPF30– If you’re going to be stepping out into the sun more now that warm weather is here to stay- don’t forget to protect your lips. This color is ‘skinny dip’ and it is a perfect light neutral for wearing by itself or under lipstick. There are a bunch of great colors, so something for everyone!

chiaseeds_productbox11.) Dusty Girls Natural Lipstick– This color ‘chia seeds’ is the perfect light pink for spring. It has warmer tones but looks great on all skin tones. It’s matte, but not drying like a lot of other formulas. I wear it almost every day, and will probably be picking up their other shades as well. They also carry glosses if you’re not a lipstick gal.

paperbark_productbox_212.) *Dusty Girls Eye Shadow– I love this “Paper Bark” color. It’s a light shade of gold with a light shimmer that’s perfect worn by itself or on the lid when you’re doing a smokier eye. I’ve been wearing a gold smokey eye for Spring and I use this as the base. I’ll share that look soon!

13.) Pacifica ‘Mystical’ Supernatural Eye Shadow Palette– I love these colors. They’re good for both daytime and evening looks, and I also use these for my ‘gold smokey eye’ look. They’re pigmented well, rich in color, and last all day. And a huge bonus in my book- unlike most shimmery colors, they don’t irritate my eyes. I’m going to buy all of their other eye palettes as well, because why not stick with what works?

mascara

14.) Physician’s Formula Organic Wear 100% Natural Origin Mascara– I LOVE this mascara. I mean, it’s a basic mascara, no bells or frills- but it is the only mascara I’ve tried thus far that doesn’t irritate my eyes and make them itch. I had given up on drugstore mascara as an option, but this totally changed my mind. And at less than $9 where I live, it’s a steal!

That’s it for my Spring Picks- I hope you find something that works well for you. If you have any questions about these products, let me know. They are all products that I own and use on a daily basis.

What are your Spring Beauty Picks? I am always up for beauty recommendations!
