I was honored to receive a HUGE package in the mail featuring the new Pixi Pretties collaboration. Pixi teamed up with 4 beauty bloggers/vloggers to bring some amazing new products to their collection.
My favorite part of this collection was the collaboration with Judy from ItsJudyTime. She curated 2 beautiful palettes- one for eyes and one for lips.
The eye palette includes 12 gorgeous neutrals that will flatter absolutely everyone. It features both shimmery and matte shades, both of which are pretty highly pigmented and can be used in an endless amount of combinations to achieve whatever look you’re going for. From simple to glam, and anything in between. I’ve played with it SO many times, and I’m having so much fun trying out new looks.
The Lip Palette has become a favorite as well. I haven’t had a lip palette since I was a kid- and never thought that I’d use one as an adult. But, this is the perfect grown up lip palette that you’re looking for.
It includes both light, neutral colors, all the way up to dark ‘night out’ shades. You can blend these together, just like the shadows, to create so many beautiful lip looks. For a lip palette, they’re pretty long lasting. And I love that they’re semi matte. Not too shiny, but just enough. I fell in love with all of the shades- but especially the color ‘Falling Leaves’. It’s the perfect 90’s throwback color. Neutral with a little color. I have worn it out!
Her Glow-Y Powders are just what you need for that extra hint of sparkle- especially on a night out. At first, I didn’t know how often I would use these. Let’s be honest- as a stay at home Mom, the only glow I get to wear most days is grease on my face and hair. But, I’ve really fallen in love with these powders. Even when I’m barely wearing makeup, they’re just a nice way to ‘wake-up’ my face and give me a healthy glow.
I especially love this Rome Rose color. I’ve been using it as a bit of a blush topper, on top of a bright pink blush. It was perfect for Valentine’s day, and will be a go-to for Summer for sure. The glow is ridiculous! It make me feel so pretty and feminine. Sometimes a Momma needs a pick me up.
Apsyn also included her favorite eye accents in her collab- the Brow Tamer and the Lower Lash Mascara. I used to think it would be crazy to use a mascara just for my lower lashes. But now, I’m like, “where have you been all my life?!”
Maryam Maquillage aka the Queen of Contour teamed up with Pixi to curate these amazing multi use palettes. The Strobe & Sculpt used for highlight and contouring, and the Strobe and Bronze for glowing and bronzing.
I’m pretty new to the contouring game, so these only get used on more special occasions, but the bronzers are quickly becoming a favorite. Even on ‘no makeup makeup’ days. They warm up my face beautifully, and when paired with the highlights or strobing powders, my look is quickly put together. They also include colors great for hiding undereye circles, and even one that doubles as a nice blush. The set also came with an amazing double ended Strobe and Sculpt brush that has become a must-have, every day tool for me.
After putting all of this makeup on, at the end of the day sometimes you need a little help getting it off. That’s where this collaboration with Caroline Hirons comes in handy!
Double Cleanse is a double sided cleanser that is going to be your go-to night time cleanser. One side is a solid oil cleanser that literally melts your makeup off. The other side includes a cleansing cream that is rich and luxurious and will cleanse your face without making it dry. I just started using this double-cleanse and I am hooked. It worked SO well, and didn’t irritate or dry out my sensitive skin. I’ve been a fan of double cleansing for a while- but now I am hooked! This little container is perfect for traveling with too- no tubes or pumps that will leak all over your cosmetics bag. And being 2 cleansers, it’s really all you need.
I am so in love with this whole collaboration collection, and was so excited to have the opportunity to try out all of these great products. Pixi is great because it’s easily accessible (TARGET) and though the ingredients aren’t the cleanest, they have never irritated my sensitive skin! They’re also pretty affordable and cruelty free, and have a lot of options for my Vegan friends.
Which of these products are you drooling over?
