…quick post…NOT so quick!

We’re getting ready to head out to the movie again, so I thought I’d make a quick post while hubby is playing video games to pass the time. (Turns out it might not be so quick!)
Got a little more knitting in today, working on a scarf for my mother in law’s Christmas present. Love the new stitch I learned, and it’s so neat to see something I’m creating turn into something so pretty!
Had a crazy busy weekend. First, went to David’s Bridal and tried on bridesmaids dresses for my sis in laws wedding in February. Found the perfect dress, it’s red, and short, and strapless. Not something I would normally pick out for myself, but it’s beautiful, and complements her gown as well. Super excited about their wedding!
Did some Christmas shopping afterward. Took my other sis in law and had her pick out some outfits for my nephews. Normally I buy them toys, but there’s 4 of them and they grow so quickly, so they definitely need clothes! Got to spend some time with them after that- they are the sweetest little guys. They’re 7, 5, 4, and 1! What a handful!!! Hee hee…
Sundays are always busy in our household. My hubby is the Teen Sunday school teacher at our church, and I teach the Primary class. Then after church we went to lunch and spent the afternoon at my parents’ house. Then, back to church. We are also the youth group leaders. It makes for a busy day, but we really love working with the youth. There are only 3 teens at our church, but we’re working on helping our group grow, and for such a small group they do so much. We raised over $500 at our last bake sale, and our church only has about 70 people.
And, tonight we are going to the movies with my hubby’s sis and her fiancee…something we love to do when we have the extra time…..
Last but not least, I’m getting super nervous about this week. I start my first round of clomid on Wednesday. Clomid is a pill that helps you ovulate, and it’s my first form of fertility treatment. We’ve been trying for a little over 2 years now to get pregnant. We got pregnant last year, but lost our baby in April. We were only about 8 weeks along. So, this whole new experience of taking medication to conceive scares me so much. I’m SO scared that what happened before may happen again….but SO excited to get pregnant. We’re hoping and praying that the clomid will work, and that we won’t have to take more drastic measures to conceive. We want a baby so badly. And, CAN’T WAIT to be parents. When that happens, we truly will be living our dream!
