My First Award!
When I logged on tonight I was surprised to see that I had a comment from a friend of mine, and she is giving me my first blog award! Woohoo!!! Thanks Lenzey! She is over at Life, Love, and Living in It. She shares her feelings completely and is such an inspiration! Thanks!!!
Here’s my award:
And here’s the rules:
1.) Thank and Link back to the blog that gave you your award
3.) Award 15 recently discovered great bloggers.
4.) Contact the bloggers to let them know you’ve given them an award.
And here’s 7 Random Things about me:
1.) I love God and am so thankful for all the wonderful blessings he has given me, including a wonderful hubby and an amazing fur baby, our kitty Spot!
2.) My hubby and I want a baby more than anything!!! We are currently undergoing fertility medication and are praying and hoping for the best. We lost a baby 2 years ago early on in my pregnancy, and are hoping that this time we have a full-term, un-eventful pregnancy!
3.) I’m a stay at home wife (domestic engineer?) I was a hairstylist and I still do all of my friends and families hair, but due to an allergy that I contracted while doing hair, I can no longer work in a salon (cuz my hands break out TERRIBLY). But God has a plan for everything and I love staying at home and taking care of our home!
4.) I have recently caught the “crafting bug” and due to so many awesome blogs out there I was able to create my own and share some of my ideas. I found crafting in a time when I really needed something to kind of keep my mind off of everything else, and I LOVE it!
5.) I LOVE to read. If you know me well, you always know whatever book I’m reading cuz I love to talk about them. I read during a lot of my free time and love a wide range of genres when it comes to books.
6.) I’m a gamer. I’ll admit it. My husband and I have a Wii and a DSi and we even pre-order some games before they come out because we love them so much. We are Nintendo freaks, and are always down to challenge our friends and family to gaming parties.
7.) I am a Sunday school teacher and a Youth Group leader at our small country church. Our membership is really small and the most we have on Sundays is between 50-75 people. However, I love it! We know everyone and they are so loving and supportive. Our youth group is only 3 kids, but we have so much fun with them and are hoping to see it grow and grow!!!
And here’s 15 blogs that I love to read.
