One of the first things Kyle talks about is sin- and how we sometimes only see the sins of others. He mentions how if we aren’t the biggest sinner that we know, then we’re really not in tune with who we really are. But, even though we ARE the worst of sinners, not were, was, or have been- “…you’ve done nothing so horrible that grace can’t cover it. Grace is always greater, no matter what.”

That is a big one for me. Each one of us knows deep down the things that we’ve done. Maybe it’s something so horrible, we expect that we could never be forgiven. But, grace is greater. Our God is bigger! He can use us for good. He can turn our bad times into better times. He extends grace like no other.

I love how Kyle mentions that the only time in Jesus’s life, “when Jesus voluntarily and candidly tells someone he is the Messiah, the Son of God. And it’s to the Samaritan woman with a bad reputation who’s been married five times and is now living with some other guy. How’s that for grace?”

No matter what you’ve done- God can use you! HIS GRACE IS GREATER.

The theme of Grace is prevalent throughout the book- and Kyle mentions time and time again, situation after situation in which God uses our hurts, heartbreak, bitterness, all working together for good!

I am so thankful and grateful that I serve a God who never lets me suffer alone. This book has urged me to reach out to others who may be hurting- to share his love and grace. To forgive those- even those who will never be sorry for hurting me.

This book is a breath of fresh air- a reminder that no matter what, His grace will ALWAYS be greater!

If you are in need of a pick me up, a subtle, or even not so subtle reminder of the Grace of our God- pick up this book. You will not regret it!
