*The Cornerstone Inn generously hosted my friends and I for a night in exchange for me sharing our experience with you. All opinions are my own.*

When I found out that my friends and I were going to have the opportunity to stay at an Inn, I was beyond excited. I was picturing Gilmore Girls- I mean I always do when I think of Inns and small towns. But, the Cornerstone Inn went beyond my expectations!

When I arrived to grab our keys- they let me know that my friends and I were staying in a cottage on their property. I was nervous that it would be far away, but it was literally maybe 200 steps away. Just close enough to sneak back for snacks-which they serve their guests every night from 7-10 pm. They told us we didn’t want to miss out on the snacks. And I’m so glad we went back before we headed to the cottage for the night. There was fresh fruit, homemade cakes and cheese trays galore. Also a huge selection of tea, and things like popcorn you can take back to your room to pop up later! In the lobby they have a menu featuring what they’ll have that night for snacks, so you can make sure you save room when you eat your dinner!

Not only was Tudie’s Cottage adorable, it was located RIGHT around the corner from all of the shops, wineries, and restaurants. Making it super convenient. We parked our cars and didn’t use them except to drive about a mile down the road for dinner. We were just a few blocks away from coffee, wine, and some amazing eateries.

Right inside a super cute, sun porch, our locked door to OUR cottage was located. The decor was my favorite. An eclectic mix of antiques and homey touches.

The first bedroom boasted an adorable sitting area, a tv, and a cute twin-sized bed where one of my friend’s slept. Perfect for a girl’s weekend or a room where a kid can be extra comfortable!

To the left of that was a beautiful, sunny kitchen- fully stocked. You could stay here for as long as you want and be completely comfortable. There were glasses, wine-glasses (which you need after ALL the wine tastings), coffee, pots, pans- anything you need in a kitchen.

Off of the kitchen was a gorgeous full sized dining room. With the most beautiful built ins and antique touches. There is no shortage on seating in this cottage! I want to go again and stay for longer- play cards at that table. And curl up for a nap on the couch.

The living room had buttery leather furniture, that we didn’t want to get out of. I called dibs on that chair and blanket while sipping my coffee after our stay. The couch also reclined- more sleeping areas if you come with more kids.

On the opposite side there was even more seating and a television, which we didn’t really use- because ladies who haven’t seen each other for a year don’t really run out of things to chat about. We were up until 1 in the morning talking!

My other sweet friend got to stay in this gorgeous room. She said she wanted to take the quilt home with her! Not only did she have a huge bed- she also had her own bathroom attached with a full sized tub.

My room had the COMFIEST bed that I have ever slept on away from home. I’m not even kidding. I contemplated bringing my own pillow on our trip- but I didn’t need it. This bed was ridiculously cozy and soft. My room also had a bathroom with a shower and a mirrored closet where we tried all of our outfits on in front of. As well as another t.v. and giant, vintage radio.

The cottage also had a beautiful screened in porch on the front from where I watched the sun start to peek over the horizon with my first cup of coffee.

There were also 3 or 4 lamps in each room, allowing you to create beautiful ambiance. I’m a huge lamp-lover and I always appreciate that detail! It made it feel so homey and cozy- we didn’t even miss home that much. (Well, maybe we missed our kids just a little…)

If you have the opportunity to stay at Cornerstone Inn or one of their cottages and other rooms nearby- DO NOT skip their breakfast at Emma’s Cafe! I was expecting some bagels and cream cheese (which they DID have). But, they also had a delicious spread of scrambled eggs, eggs to order, cheesy breakfast potatoes, sausage, fresh fruit, grits, and more. Including the most delicious pecan-roll, which may be the best thing I’ve ever eaten in my life.

They’re also open to the public for breakfast and lunch (on weekends)- so even if you aren’t staying there, I’d still recommend you stop by and grab a bite to eat.

Everyone at the Inn, from the person who greeted me in the Lobby, to the man that seated us at breakfast were the absolute friendliest. They treated my friends and I like queens! They treated all of the guests that way. Everyone was smiling and happy.

I’m already trying to talk my Husband into a trip back to the Cornerstone Inn so we can sneak away for a romantic weekend together. Who else needs a getaway? I can’t imagine how beautiful it will be there once the flowers all bloom, or when the leaves change in the fall!

Have you ever stayed at Cornerstone Inn? I highly recommend it and I will be back!

Pin it for future reference-

My friends and I stayed at a beautiful Inn on our Girl’s Weekend. The Cornerstone Inn in Brown County is beautiful, friendly, and perfect for a getaway!

[64,9,1

post-57462","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-indiana","category-travel","category-uncategorized","has_thumb
["GET
