{My bestie This Messy Season and I started a series together -Tuesday Top 10. In which we share 10 of our favorites from each week. These can be any 10 things that we’ve been loving, and I hope you keep tuning in to see what we come up with next! Some of these products may have been sent to me and these posts may contain affiliate links- thanks so much for helping support my blog and family! }

I’m baaaack after a couple of week hiatus. I needed a break anyway- but if you’ve been following my IG you know that I also threw my back out a little over a week ago and was stuck in bed for several days. I’m on the mend now- and though I still have to type standing up, I’m getting a little better each day. I wanted to jump back into the blog feet first by starting this week off fresh with a Tuesday Top 10. So, here’s a list of things I’ve been loving over the past couple of weeks…

"Everspring

1.) The new Everspring line from Target. You know I love a more natural brand for keeping my house clean. Better for my sensitive skin, and my family. I’ve tried several of the products from this line and I really have enjoyed them all. My current favorites are the Mandarin & Ginger scented ones. I’m using the handsoap and the all purpose spray in my kitchen right now. I’ve also got the unscented handsoap in my master bath which is great if you have super sensitive skin like me!

2.) My book pick of the week is The Next Right Thing by Emily P. Freeman. I have a full review coming later this week! I’d heard great things about Freeman’s books, but this was the first one I’ve had the pleasure of reading and I really enjoyed it! If you are trying to make a big decision- this book might help.

"independent

3.) On Independent Bookstore day I grabbed this adorable tote bag from one of my bookstore favorites- Wild Geese Bookshop. It has different locally owned bookstores from around the state and if you take your bag with you when you shop- you get a discount and a cute button for your bag from each location! {PERFECT for our Summer Road Trip!} I only have 2 buttons so far- though I actually visited the Madison location yesterday, but I FORGOT my bag. But, we’ll be heading that way again soon and I will not forget it the next time!

"MAC

4.) When my Husband was on a work trip in Dallas a few weeks ago, he grabbed me a set of MAC lipsticks from the airport. Because, a smart man doesn’t come home empty handed after being gone for a week… I had never had the pleasure of trying a MAC lipstick before (I know, I know!). I really love the different shades of reds he picked- they’re mega pigmented and they last a really long time on my lips. They’re definitely not every day wear, but they’re great for special occasions or when I’m feeling frisky. Ruby Woo has quickly become one of my red favorites!

5.) Yesterday we took a day trip and went on a little drive. And we ended up in the charming town of Madison, Indiana. I had never been before, and I didn’t realize how close it is to us. Only about an hour away! It was full of fun shops and gorgeous views of the Ohio River. I’m adding it on to our road trip list so we can go back and enjoy it for a little longer. Since yesterday was Memorial Day and a Monday, not everything was open, and we didn’t arrive until the afternoon. So, I need a full day (or 2!) to really look around.

6.) My backyard plants are really starting to flourish now that we’re knee deep into Spring and I’m loving it! I’m adding in lots more plants slowly (and would have even more done had I not thrown out my back picking up a bag of topsoil!). The older I get the more I appreciate flowers and birds and all of the beauty God has provided for us outdoors.

"stainless

7.) I drink a LOT of water and like to stay hydrated, and my old TAL water bottle had seen much better days. So, I picked up a cute, new stainless steel bottle at Target for under $9! I loved the selection of designs- and really liked the price. I may have to grab a few more before they’re gone.

8.) On my fellow Beauty Blogger’s recommendations I grabbed the Covergirl Exhibitionist mascara and I was definitely not disappointed. I really like the consistency of the formula and may be tossing out my old Lash Paradise now… Give it a try if you’ve been on the lookout for a great everyday mascara.

"sea

9.) You know that sea salt caramels have my heart- and I found these really delicious ones at Aldi for like $3. I have kept them on my end table in my living room and have been eating an embarrassing amount of them!

10.) REST. I think we all forget we need it. But, having hurt myself reminds me that sometimes our bodies need rest. I literally could not get out of bed for a few days, and I tried to really focus on listening to my body and knowing my limits. Which is something I know, as Moms we tend to forget.
