I’ve shared my Cranberry Fluff recipe before- but I’ve perfected it. And though my Grandmother is probably rolling over in her grave, I’ve made it easier… and maybe a smidgen tastier. (Sorry, Mam!)

This is seriously the EASIEST Holiday side you will ever make! It’s delicious, contains cranberries- making it perfect for this time of year, and everyone is always wowed by it. I have to make it (for both sides of my family) every Thanksgiving. So, I thought I’d share my secrets with you.

First, gather your ingredients- ya know, all 3 of them.

Do the same with about 1/2 that bag of walnuts, depending on what size you use. It’s not an exact science, which is another reason I love this recipe so much.

That’s all you need; cranberries, walnuts, and cool whip. I prefer creamy, but whatever you like is fine. (BONUS- I tried this recipe with the So Delicious Dairy Free Coconut Whip and it was just as good. And DAIRY FREE! But, back to you dairy people…)

Be sure to rinse your cranberries and check for bad ones. Sometimes you’ll get a soft or rotten one, make sure to get those out. Then let them dry for a few minutes. Wet cranberries mixed with whipped cream is not tasty.

These next steps you’re going to need a food processor for. My Mam also sometimes used a meat grinder. But, I’m betting you’re more likely to own a food processor. Just chop the cranberries until they’re a nice, smaller consistency. A little chunky, but not too much.

Toss your chopped cranberries and walnuts together in a bowl.

Go ahead and put in that whole container of whipped cream. We’re not on diets here- this is the Holidays.

You can go ahead and stop at this point if you like. You’ll have a nice tart and somewhat pinkish mixture. But, it’s delicious nonetheless. My Mam swore by putting a few drops of red food coloring in to make it a little prettier. I have to agree it looks much more appetizing. But, if you don’t like red dye…feel free to leave it out. She also used to put a little extra sugar in, but I prefer it more tart.

And that’s it! I bet you didn’t even work up a sweat preparing this cranberry fluff. No cooking, no baking, no stressing. You can wow your guests with minimal work, and that’s always a win in my book!
