When we first started this homeschool journey, I\u2019m not going to lie. I had my doubts. I was scared. I had no idea what to expect.<\/p>\n

Was I going to screw up my kid? Was he going to drive me too crazy for me to teach him? Would I fail him?<\/p>\n

I can 100 percent<\/strong> tell you that this journey has not gone at all like I expected it to. It has gone SO MUCH BETTER<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

Homeschool has been a joy!<\/p>\n

Most days we look forward to it. We get along better. Most days we are learning alongside one another.<\/p>\n

Bookshark<\/a> has been such an amazing blessing for our family. The way the lessons are planned out, it takes so much stress off of me. It\u2019s straightforward, easy to understand, and totally organized. I feel like they\u2019re holding my hand every step of the way.<\/p>\n

The fact that it\u2019s Literature Based, makes my bibliophile heart happy. We spend a lot of time cuddled up reading together, and in doing so I\u2019m raising a reader. His curriculum is literally instilling a love of reading in him, and that is worth a million bucks in my book!<\/p>\n

With Bookshark\u2019s Language Arts Curriculum<\/a>, I get to share some of my childhood book favorites with my child. Before we started this school year, I had no idea how much he LOVED science. Now every week he looks forward to the Science Experiments from the Science Curriculum<\/a>, and we\u2019ve even been doing ALL of the \u2018optional\u2019 ones as well.<\/p>\n

I thought this year would drag on at a snail\u2019s pace- but it is flying by. I couldn\u2019t ask for better results. My friends are even asking a lot of questions and getting more curious about this whole \u2018homeschool thing.\u2019<\/em><\/p>\n

So today, we\u2019re baking brownies and having a celebration- we\u2019re going to do school in our pajamas and go to the library. We\u2019re going to spend extra time doing what we love (and maybe skipping math), because we are celebrating.<\/p>\n

Bring it on, second half of Kindergarten- we\u2019re coming for ya!<\/p>\n
