Podcasts I’ve Been Binge Listening – Mrs. Bishop

We’ve been insanely busy the last couple of weeks. With school starting (in 13 days!!!), re-doing our Master Bedroom, Summer, and waking up today to a puking child– this Mama has been swamped. But, I did want to share with you something I’ve been spending all of my free time doing. And that’s listening to podcasts.

A friend of mine recommended some podcasts to me. And I saved them, but never found much time to listen. But this past week while painting our bedroom, I turned one on and got hooked! I binge-listened to an entire playlist of one podcast. And started several others!

So, in lieu of a Tuesday Top Ten this week, I wanted to share with you a few of the podcasts I’ve been loving lately. Also, yeah, I homeschool- so most of them are homeschool related.

  1. Called to Homeschool: Karyn and Meg offer incredible insight into homeschooling. I love their chatter back and forth and all of the tips and tricks they share. They have great recommendations and share their homeschool journey in a non-judgy way. I listened to EVERY SINGLE ONE of their podcast episodes and highly recommend them to my fellow homeschool moms.
  2. Homeschool Unrefined: Maren and Angela have a great conversational back and forth as well. I loved their list of read alouds and just started listening to them but I am hooked. They also have great Minnesota accents that make me smile.
  3. What Should I Read Next: I love Anne Bogel from The Modern Mrs. Darcy. She’s a fellow bibliophile and she uses her knowledge of books to help people choose the next read that they’ll love. I’ve only listened to a few, but I love the formula she uses to help people choose books. I’m also mega jealous of her stacks of books…

I just started a few more Homeschool podcasts including Joyfully Homeschooling and Keep Calm and Homeschool On but haven’t listened to enough to comment yet.

As far as other podcasts on my to-listen list I have Armchair Expert and The Popcast. But, I haven’t found the time to start those yet. However, I am taking ALL THE RECOMMENDATIONS! Apparently that’s what I do for fun now. So drop your favorites in the comments.
