So, hubby has been working on the bathroom today, so I had to occupy myself somehow. I’ve been learning how to make fabric rosettes from some really cool blogs so I thought I’d give it a try!
I started with an old belt- you know those kinds that come with jeans or shorts, but never quite look right when you actually wear them? I cut it apart and made two long strips of fabric out of it.
Then I rolled and glued.
Then twisted and glued.
I really like the way it turned out!
Then I decided to make on into a hair clip. First, I hot glued some felt to the bottom.
Then, hot glued a clip to the felt.
Trimmed of the excess, and voila!!!
I would show a pic of it in my hair (it looks really cute in dark hair by the way!) but I was looking a little rough. I spent the day taking care of some twins, so at least I have an excuse! lol
I liked it so much I made a plateful! Heehee!
I’ll probably clip the others on a purse, or maybe a headband- the possibilities are endless! I like the pink plaid, they might even work as a V-Day accessory!
