Besties Bookshelf 2020 Reading Challenge – Mrs. Bishop

If you guys are following along, my bestie This Messy Season and I started our very own Bookstagram- Besties Bookshelf. We’re starting a monthly book club: our first month’s pick was Little Women. We’ll be sharing our bookish favorites, printables, recipes, playlists- everything you need to host your very own Book Club. And hopefully we’ll be able to do some live chats with you very soon! In the New Year we’ll have SO much more to share so stay tuned! I’m so excited to share my fave hobby, with my best friend!

And this year we decided to put together our very own Reading Challenge. I wanted to keep it simple- especially if you’re just getting back into the habit of reading. So, this is a really easy way to pick some books for the New Year. Print off the challenge, check off what you read, and share on social media and tag us so we can keep up!

You can do this challenge in ANY order you want- and sometimes you can even kill 2 birds with one stone and check off 2 with one book! I read Little Women this month- but now I’ll have to find another classic. I’m tempted to pick up Jane Austen- because honestly, I’ve NEVER made it through one of her books. But, I also fell in love with Agatha Christie this year, so I could probably read a few more of hers, no problem.

The “recommendation” is any book a friend has suggested to you- or pick one of our faves that we’ll be sharing throughout the year on our new page. Always feels free to DM us if you need a little help or a few ideas. We LOVE talking books!

The hardest one for me will probably be the Laugh out Loud book- because I’m not great at picking those reads. So comment and let me know if you’ve read anything funny lately.

I can’t wait to share more of my favorite bookish things with you this year. Kala and I are so excited to really get this going- 2020 goals!

Last but not least- what books are you most looking forward to reading this coming year? I CANNOT wait to read the new Hunger Games prequel: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes!

Now get started on that Reading Challenge!!!
