*I receive the BookShark Curriculum in exchange for sharing our Homeschooling journey with you. All opinions are my own.*
School just changed a lot for all of us. Technically, right now we’re all schooling at home. Which has been a hard transition for everyone, I know. Even us that homeschool are really missing our weekly library trips and extra-curriculars. But, a few of you have reached out to me with positives. I’ve had friends tell me that they’re enjoying getting to teach their children at home, and this has been the perfect way for them to get a little taste of what it might be like to teach them full time.
I LOVE that! They’re seeing that teaching from home can be a joy- not always easy, sometimes a challenge, but a joy nonetheless…
I’ve also had friends tell me that they might need a little help and encouragement. Following a lesson plan has been easy for them, but they’re not sure where to start when thinking about homeschooling. A boxed curriculum like BookShark is perfect for that! It’s everything you need to get started homeschooling, delivered in on big, beautiful package! The Instructor’s Guide gives you all the information you need to teach the materials that come with your curriculum. It’s all in once place and spelled out for you, so you don’t have to second-guess yourself.
The beauty of it is, that you can also add any extra subjects or materials you want to teach right in with your curriculum as well. You can tailor it to your family’s needs- even each child individually. I set up my teaching planner in a way that keeps all the subjects for each day readily available- taking the subjects from my Instructor’s Guide and then adding in any extras. It has made teaching so simple for me- and I know my son is learning what he needs to for each age level. The peace of mind is reassuring, and I feel like a pro!
BookShark also includes ALL The books you need throughout the year. Your History, Science, Language Arts textbooks, your read alouds, workbooks and more! You can even bundle in the Math curriculum you want to use in an All Subject package! (We’re currently on Level C).
So, if you’re mulling over giving this whole “Homeschool Thing” a go, but you need some direction, give BookShark a try! You can request a catalog from their website or send them an email and they can answer any questions that you have. Feel free to drop me an email anytime as well and I’d love to share our experience with you! Homeschooling doesn’t have to be hard. You can do this!
