Update – Mrs. Bishop

You’re due an update: I didn’t mean to go radio silent. But, with all of the heaviness that this year has brought- on top of moving across the country from family, being stuck in a corporate apartment for most of our Summer…it all just felt too heavy. Too much. And I let blogging slip by the wayside. I lost my creative juices and I didn’t feel like writing or creating at all. But, now I’m seeing the light at the end of the tunnel! I am feeling the pull to write and share again, and we’re finally getting settled and it’s all starting to feel much easier.

On top of that- I’m seeing so many new Homeschoolers this year because of how crazy 2020 has been, and I’m excited to be a voice to help foster your at home educations. It’s a passion of mine to support parents new to this Homeschool life and I can’t wait for you to join me. It’s not an easy decision, and it’s not always easy at all- but you can do this! I can’t wait for you to start on this journey with me and I hope you come to me with questions and when you need encouragement!

This Summer has taught us a lot- we’ve found a love for audiobooks and spending even more time together. We’ve learned ways to use technology to communicate with family who we can’t go hug in person. We’ve learned new skills- I mean how many of us baked sourdough bread this year?! This season has not been at all what we were expecting, but I’m proud of our adaptability amidst the chaos that this year has thrown at us.

So, I’m back and ready to share again. Ready to show you around our new city- and state. Ready to share the tools that I’ve acquired and the knowledge I’ve learned along our Homeschooling journey. Here to offer book recommendations and bring you along as we decorate another home. I hope you’ll join me. And as always, thank you for riding this roller-coaster with me and reading my little words. I’ll be back with another update soon!

This week I have lots of packages coming from all the Homeschool stuff I’ve ordered so I’ll be sharing that with you soon. And hopefully I’ll get some photos taken around our neighborhood to share as well.
