Ko & Humble Beautifying Oils

Have you heard of beauty oils? They’ve been popping up a lot lately in the beauty world. And I’ve been steering pretty clear of them. With my super sensitive- breakout prone skin, I was reluctant to slather oil on my skin. But, boy was I wrong!

Ko & Humble sent me over 3 of their beautifying oils and my life is forever changed!

Their oils use certified organic ingredients, are cold-pressed so that the chemical composition of the oils aren’t compromised, and made in small batches to ensure that all of the essential fatty acids, anti-oxidants, and natural fragrance of their oils are preserved. The pureness of them, as well as the process in which they’re made, make them safe for my super sensitive skin. And because they’re pure oils- they have a huge array of uses.

Each oil can be used on several parts of your body and in different areas of your beauty routine, making them a versatile product. As a frugal Momma that doesn’t want to spend a ton of money on myself, this makes them even more appealing. If I can purchase one thing and use it on my hair, skin, and nails- that’s a win in my book!

jojoba

This Organic Golden Jojoba Oil has been a great addition to my body care. After I shower, I’ve been mixing a few drops in with my body moisturizer and spreading it over my entire body. It turns my regular old lotion into a creamy and decadent body treatment, and my skin drinks it up and just glows. It has been helping with the drier areas and feels amazing on my stretch marks (c’mon Moms we know we’ve got them). My skin has never felt softer. That’s not the only way this product can be used either- if you check out Ko & Humble’s website, they have suggestions on ways to use their oils- this Jojoba oil can also be used as a makeup remover, a hair treatment, or as a beard oil on your man. You just have to try it and see which way you like it best.

argan

Their Organic Argan Oil has become my favorite hair treatment. I know my fellow Moms can feel my pain- I haven’t had my hair cut in over a year. So the dead ends and damaged areas are pretty abundant. I started putting a few drops into my palm and rubbing it through my wet hair before blow drying- and I haven’t even had to use any other hair products. It has helped with the split ends, made my hair blow dry beautifully, and it feels softer and smoother than ever. I’ve also put a few drops in with my conditioner and tried it that way too- but I am too scared to carry the oil bottle into the shower for fear of dropping it, so the other way is easier. The Argan oil is also great on the skin in the same way I’m using the jojoba oil, but is more hydrating. It’s also great on nails and dry cuticles.

pfseedSaving my favorite for last- this Passionfruit Seed Oil (also know as Maracuja oil), is getting added to my holy grail products list! This super light oil is rejuvenating, smoothing, helps with fine lines and wrinkles, and is taming my hormonal breakouts. It’s versatile and absorbs quickly without leaving your skin feeling oily- making it perfect for my face. I’ve been using a few drops day and night after toning and before moisturizing. My skin feels more supple and plump, and I’m not even exaggerating…my Hubby even noticed a difference, and said I have been “glowing” lately. (In a good way!) It can also be used on hair and nails as well.

The great thing about these oils, other than how affordable they are- coming in at less than $20 a bottle, is how long they last. Since you’re only using a few drops at a time- a bottle lasts FOREVER. I have been using them for weeks, and I can’t even tell that I’ve used any, the bottles are still full.

If you’re looking for a versatile product that will give you the most bang for your buck- give Ko & Humble’s Beautifying Oils a try. And if you have any questions, contact them via their website, they’re super helpful and proud of their products- as they should be. I’m hooked, and will definitely be re-purchasing. Don’t forget to check out their Marula, Sea Buckthorn, and Rosehip oils as well, and stay tuned as they’re working on more products for the future.
