Pixi Beauty Favorites – Mrs. Bishop

Full disclosure, I am a Pixi Ambassador, and they occasionally send me products to try.

But, it’s no strings- I only share what I love. And I have dropped plenty of my own money on their products as well.

They have a huge range of great, sensitive skin friendly options (that you can pick up while you’re perusing the aisles of Target, Starbucks in hand). There hasn’t really been one product from them that I just didn’t like at all- and that’s saying something. But, I tried to narrow it down to a few products that I use the most often- so off we go:

MakeupFixingMist

My hands down, number one favorite has to be their Makeup Fixing Mist. This stuff is magic! It sets my makeup into place ALL.DAY.LONG. It gives me a nice glow that’s not greasy, and makes any cakey powder disappear. You also get a pretty sizable amount, compared to most setting sprays. I almost always reach for this stuff. I *just* ran out and next time I go to Target, I must get some more!

SheaButterLipBalm-These Shea Butter Lip Balms are a must have if you are not a big lipstick person- which I am, but I love them anyway. They’re nourishing on my lips, and I am in love with the colors. I wear the Natural Rose one pretty much anytime I’m not wearing lip color. And I always have (at least!) one stashed in my purse.

Glow-yPowder-SantoriniSunsetI was fairly new to the highlighting game when I started using this Glowy Powder in Santorini Sunset. Even now, I still reach for it ahead of all of my others. This gives me the perfect amount of glow, without being too glittery. The color is perfect on my skin tone. I gifted my friend with the lighter color highlighter, and I still use the Rome Rose as a blush topper when I want to be super extra. It’s a great, soft, pigmented highlight if you’re in the market for a new one.

Mattelustre-Lipstick

I am the proud owner of at least 1/2 of these Mattelustre Lipsticks. I love the satiny-sheen they give to my lips, and all of the colors are gorgeous. They’re not super long lasting, but they wear off evenly, so I don’t look like a crazy person throughout the day. The only knock I have to give them, is that some of them taste funny. But, I find that happens with a lot of lip products, so it doesn’t really bother me.

Quick-Fix-PowderI always use a setting powder to set my undereye concealer, as well as on top of my makeup, most days. This Quick Fix Powder was a welcome addition to my collection. It has no color, so it won’t change the tone of your makeup. It’s also super light, and blurred my imperfections nicely. The little pouf on top made it convenient to travel with, because it kept the powder from going everywhere. But. I did still apply it with a brush. I would definitely re-purchase this again.

Peel_PolishY’all know I love a good scrub, and this Peel and Polish has had a premium space in my shower over the last few months. It’s a mask, that you only leave on for 2 minutes, or you can just use it as a scrub. I liked to throw it on my face, wash my body, then scrub it off. It’s an enzyme peel that re-surfaces your skin, without making it feel like it’s burning off. I always noticed a huge difference in how soft and smooth my skin was after I used it. I definitely need to pick up another one!

LowerLashMascara

If you’re really extra, or want to just look extra glam- this Lower Lash Mascara is for you. When I first got it, I thought it was so silly. Until I tried it. The teeny, tiny brush is perfect for separating your lower lashes and making them look dark and full. My lashes have never looked better! In a pinch I’ve even used this as an overall mascara, and I didn’t hate it.

eyepalThis It’s Eye Time Palette, is STILL one of my favorite drugstore palettes. The color payoff is amazing- they are SO pigmented. They’re also soft, but not too buttery. They’re super long lasting, and it contains a nice balance of matte and shimmer shades. Which is something I always look for in a great palette. These colors are especially beautiful for Fall, but are neutral enough they can be rocked any time of the year.

Overnight_Glow_Serum

I’ve shared this Overnight Glow Serum in a Favorites video before. And I’m still loving it. I only use it about once a week (usually following the next product I’m going to share) and it makes my skin look so healthy and glowing. It basically exfoliates your skin while you’re sleeping and you wake up looking like a million bucks. If I could bathe in it, I totally would.

double cleanseGod bless Caroline Hirons for coming up with this Double Cleanse. I’m on my second or third one and I will buy it again and again. I love to use it when I’m wearing heavier makeup and I need that extra step. The solid cleansing oil side literally melts off your makeup, and then the cleansing cream is the perfect, gentle follow up. Every single time I use this, my skin feels so soft when I wake up. I also always take this when I’m traveling, because it’s 2 cleansers in one- and BONUS it won’t leak all over my bag.

There are lots more Pixi products that I love, but these are just a few of my favorites. This post isn’t sponsored, I just want to get back into sharing more of what I love with you.

Have you tried Pixi? What are your favorite products from them?

What other One Brand Favorites would you like to see? Next week I’ll be sharing some new products I’ve been trying so stay tuned!
