Spring Beauty Essentials: Tuesday Top 10 – Mrs. Bishop

Spring is here! I meant to do this post last week- ON the first day of Spring. But, it was also our Spring break, so…. But, I digress. Here it is- some of my current favorite beauty products for Spring. My Spring Beauty Essentials, if you will.

*I do want to remind you that some of these were sent to me as PR and others I purchased with my own money. But, my opinions are always my own and I only share products that I love!*

I’m killing 2 birds with 1 stone by combining my Top Ten with my Spring Beauty Essentials- because mom life.

Spring beauty essentials

In no particular order whatsoever- because I’ve been a huge scatterbrain lately.

I grabbed this Physicians Formula Brightening Facial Oil Stick the other day because it was on sale, honestly. I’m glad I grabbed it! It is a great product for travel. It’s much easier than packing a serum in my bag. And it has totally changed my dry spots. I love that I can use it to target specific areas, or put it all over my face if I should choose to do so. Bonus– it has SPF which is always part of my Spring Beauty Essentials. More time in the sun= more SPF needed. No brainer! I got mine on sale at Kroger, so maybe check and see if they still have it on sale. If not, it’s definitely worth full price.

How many times have I mentioned how much I love Red Apple Lipstick? Well, I’m not gonna stop now! This Copper Candy lipstick is the absolute PERFECT color for Spring! {They’re currently sold out though, so you might wanna put your name on their waitlist, cuz you need it!} It’s the perfect blend of copper and pink with a hint of shimmer. I’ve been wearing it NON-STOP. It’s already made an appearance in my weekly top ten before.

I shared my Favorite Spring Beauty Products from Dusty Girls in an IGTV video a week or 2 ago. But, this Mineral Foundation and ‘Pink Ladies’ (still love that name) blush has been on repeat in my rotation. I love BOTH of their blushes, but this one is the perfect color, with just enough sparkle to make it one of my Spring Beauty Essentials.

You knew that half of this list would be Pixi, right? They’ve been killing it lately! They’ve come out with so many new great products that I cannot wait to get my hands on all of them!

Their new Rose Glow Mist has made it into my favorites before as well. It’s right up their with my favorite setting spray– that they also make… It gives me skin an amazing Spring-y glow. And doesn’t irritate my super sensitive skin. I’ve also been using it to spray my eye makeup brushes before I apply shimmer shadows. I’m not sure if you’re supposed to use it that way- YOLO I guess.

The Eye Reflections Shadow Palette in Natural Beauty- I’ve been reaching for it MORE often than my high end palettes. The second row, middle color is life. My current favorite transition color. All of these colors are Spring Beauty Essentials, taking my makeup look from day to night in just the swipe of my eyeshadow brush!

I don’t wear much highlight in Winter for some reason, but once the weather warms up- it’s on! This Glow-y Gossamer Duo in Subtle Sunrise wakes my sleepy skin up. Giving me the prettiest glow. I dab a little on my collar bone and chest area when I’m feeling extra. SO pretty!

I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t share at least 2 lip products- because y’all know they’re my favorite. I grabbed this Lorac Pro Satin Lip Color {in several shades} (on clearance!!!) at Kohls and I’m hooked! I love the shape of the tip making it super simple to kind of line and fill in my lips in a hurry. The colors are saturated enough that they stay on for a long time, but don’t wear off patchy. Great for on the go!

Now, let’s get down to some skincare, shall we?

Pixi is back on the list with their Peel and Polish. It’s an enzyme peel and exfoliates all in one. I love to keep it in my shower so that I can slough off any dry, dead, yucky skin and refresh my face so it has that gorgeous Spring glow. I use it once or twice a week- it also helps because I’m still using my Coola sunless tan facial serum. {BTW have you seen their new sunless tan products- must try!!!} So, it helps that go on more smoothly and evenly.

I’m always on the lookout for a great sensitive skin, every day face wash- and this Mychelle Gentle Cleansing Wash does not disappoint! I keep it on my sink and use it every single morning or take it in the shower with me. It’s so gentle and doesn’t strip my skin- giving it the perfect canvas to start my makeup routine for the day.

Last but not least- I needed a new nighttime moisturizer, and I’m loving this Radically Rejuvenating Whipped Night Cream from Acure. Now that the weather is warmer, I don’t need such a heavy moisturizer at night time- and this one is just the right thickness. It’s light and whipped, but still hydrating on my dry, sensitive skin. Plus, I love the packaging because it is also great for travel. Because, with so much traveling coming up in my near future- that’s been on my wish list for my beauty products.

I hope my Spring Beauty Essentials list helps you add some great, new products to your list! Let me know if there’s anything I need to try this season.
