What’s in My Shower- Sensitive Skin Friendly Skin Care – Mrs. Bishop

I haven’t done one of these posts in FOREVER! So, I just wanted to quickly show you guys what I’m currently using. Y’all know I’m all about those sensitive skin friendly products. So here’s a peek at what’s in my shower right now. I purchased all of these with my own money- and will continue to re-buy all of them.

Body Products in My Shower

Everyone Soap is great if you have sensitive skin like I do. Even my go-to soaps have been irritating my skin lately- thanks changing seasons. So, I grabbed the Lemon + Strawberry 3 in 1 soap for my shower (and sometimes as bubbles in my bath) from TJ Maxx. {Which just so happens to be my favorite place to stock up on affordable, natural, sensitive skin friendly products.} I couldn’t find that exact scent on their website- but if you have extra sensitive skin, I highly recommend the Unscented Version, as fragrances can really irritate reactive skin. I’ve used it before and loved it, and will probably switch back to it once Winter rolls back around.

I always keep a scrub in my shower in the summer time to help keep my skin nice and smooth. They’re also great for sloughing off dry, winter skin. So, having one in there year round doesn’t really hurt. My absolute favorite body scrub is by far the Body in the Buff Grapefruit and Walnut Shell Revializing Scrub from Alba Botanica. The grapefruit scent is so fresh and invigorating. I love that it’s in a squeeze tube, so it’s super easy to apply. I have been buying this one for years, and will keep doing so as long as they sell it!

I just had to switch what I was using because my scalp was starting to get a little drier now that Fall is showing up. The Acure Argan and Pumpkin Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner is great for this. It helps keep my hair silky and smooth, and it also smells AMAZING. It’s a little rich for me to use all year round- but I love it in colder months. Before this, I was using their Body Beautiful Shampoo (great for when my hair is shorter) and loved it as well. I’ve loved all of the hair products that I’ve tried from Acure, actually. They’ve all been super gentle on my overly-sensitive skin and I appreciate that.

I use makeup wipes every single night when I wash my face, just to really help get any lingering makeup off. Especially eye makeup. Pacifica makes some of my favorite makeup removing wipes of all time. I’m currently using the Sea Water wipes and really like them. But, I can’t find them anywhere online anymore. I used the Sea Foam ones before that and loved them equally as much. They haven’t made a makeup wipe that I haven’t loved, though. I grab a package anytime I’m at Target or TJ Maxx just so I never run out, I love them that much!

Back to Acure- I’ve been really enjoying this Seriously Soothing Cleansing Cream to wash my face in the mornings. It’s extra gentle and helps get my face clean without stripping it. I don’t need a harsh cleanser in the mornings- and this one has been the perfect blend of a cleanser and cream that preps my skin for makeup. I’ve been following it up with the Seriously Soothing Day Cream in the mornings and using the Radically Rejuvenating Whipped Night Cream before bed. I might as well give all of the products from the whole collection a try, since I’ve been enjoying them so much.

I hope you guys enjoyed me sharing what beauty products I’ve been using. I know I’ve been slacking on my beauty posts lately. If you’d like me to start sharing more of them again- leave me a note in the comments. What beauty products have you been loving?
