Living in an Unscented World – Mrs. Bishop

I’ve shared with you my skin woes before. I have psoriasis and eczema, and I have slowly become allergic to all of my previously favorite products. I can’t even go near a Bath and Body Works anymore. (My husband refers to these places as chemical surplus stores now). My skin is the worst on my hands, but when I use chemical-laden scented products, I’ve had my face, neck, chest, and legs break out too.

This is SUPER embarrassing, but this is what my hands look like *most of the time*. They are slightly broken out right now, but they haven’t been completely better in 2 years.

Over the past few years I have completely changed every product I use in my home. Skin care, cleaning products, laundry products, etc. It’s been really hard to find products that don’t break me out- and actually get the job done.

So, I’ve decided to work with brands that are made for sensitive skin, and review the products for my readers. So that, if there are any other sensitive skin friends out there, you can be sure the products you’re getting work. Last week I told you about Vanicream, and I have more of their products to share with you. And a few times a month, I will be sharing my opinion of other brands with you.

I have a few brands lined up to try out already, but I would also love suggestions from you, of products I should give a try. And, please share with your friends who suffer from sensitive skin. I want to be able to help those that suffer from the same issues that I do. It’s no fun- and we could all use an ally. Sometimes I really miss scented products, but I know in the long run they’re really bad for me. Stay tuned- us “sensies” have to stick together!

Check back next week for another product review and GIVEAWAY!
