You guys know I read a lot. Most of the time I can’t shut up about the latest book I’m reading. I can’t help it! Reading is my therapy. My self care. My gift to myself. And I just HAVE to share with you all of the wonderful, inspiring books I’ve been reading from Barbour Publishing.
Barbour Books is a Christian publisher that specializes in devotionals and books designed to inspire. That’s why I thought this time of year would be the best time to share them with you- because they make the absolute perfect gift! Whether it’s for you or someone you love that could use a little encouragement.
They sent me an incredible package with a bunch of their books, and I’ve been having a hard time putting them down. Each one I’ve read has been so beautifully written and inspiring. I can’t wait to pass them on to my friends!
Secrets of the Proverbs 31 Woman has made it’s way into my Instagram on more than one occasion. It very well may be the best devotional I’ve ever read. And I’ve read a lot! It really has me focusing on what’s important, and striving to be more like the woman in Proverbs. It also has some really powerful insights on fear and anxiety- which I struggle with daily. It has really helped me to turn more of that over and focus on living in the moment, one day at a time.
I know as busy Moms, we don’t have a lot of time to read.
That’s why their books like these 3 Minute Devotions are perfect for fitting in a few minutes with God every day. Even when you’ve barely got time to spare.
Right now I’m reading Choosing Real: An Invitation to Celebrate When Life Doesn’t Go as Planned, and I am really enjoying it! Bekah has a way of writing that feels like I’m talking to a close friend. She’s so real and relateable- her words have been balm to my ever anxious heart. I know exactly who I’m passing this book onto next, because I feel like it will be able to bless so many lives. I love that about a great book- passing it on so that it can help others. (Even though sometimes I have a REALLY hard time parting with a book that I love!)
Barbour has great books for everyone in the family- including your kids and Husbands. Having a hard time finding a Holiday gift for a loved one? They have an endless amount of ideas to choose from!
